  Roger Milla and Rabah Madjer win golden Oscar at Afric Awards
 
  For the first time in the history of the African continent the African Players’ Union (UAF) organised under the patronage of the Fédération Internationale des Footballeurs Professionnels (FIFPro) the night of the ‘AFRIC AWARDS ‘. Roger Milla and Rabah Madjer were the winners of the golden Oscar for best African football player from the 20st century.

  For the Golden Oscar, the price of the best African football player from the 20st century, there were four legendary nominees: Roger Milla from Cameroon, Georges Weah from Liberia, Rabah Madjer from Algeria and Abedi Pelé from Ghana.
 
  Roger Milla and Rabah Madjer received their price at the ‘Casino le Lyon vert’ in Lyons. The night was also a celebration of African football in general, that proved it’s important role in international football again at the last World Cup in Japan and Ko
